This is the topic we are going to learn today. Before telling you all the topic, let's have a look of this picture.

Hmm... tree?? Yes, It's a tree.
Today, the topic we are going to learn is about ----> Plants... plants... Plants...
There are many types of plants.

- Flowers are plants.
- Vegetables are plants.
- Fruits are plants.
- Herbs are plants too.
Do you all know where do plants grow? They can grow at anywhere such as by the road side, at the field, in front of your house and many other places.

Now, let's look at the different types of plants.
We are going to look at flowers first. Here we go!!!
Image 3: Morning glory |
This is morning glory. Most of the morning glory flowers bloom in the early morning. The flowers usually start to
fade a few hours before the "petals" start showing visible curling.
They prefer full solar exposure throughout the day. As showing in the image,
morning glory needs warm sunlight to make them bloom. There are many types of
morning glories. "Heavenly Blue" are the classic morning glories with
the rich azure (blue) flowers with white throats. It can climbs up to 12 feet.

This is Celosia Cristata. Celosia
Cristata is commonly known as cockscomb. The name "cockscomb" comes
from China since the flower looks like the head on a rooster. In mandarin, the
name is Chi Kuan. Therefore, when direct translate from mandarin, it is known as
cockscomb. The picture shown is the flower
that has not bloom. It takes time to bloom. However, when it blooms, it will
only last for eight weeks.

- This is the full image of Celosia Cristata. This images shows the in-blooming flower.
- All these are the seed of the flower. It grows through seed planting.

This is cosmos flower. Cosmos plants
belongs to sunflower family. Cosmos plants are normally growing in most of the
garden during summer. The cosmos are easy to grow and make good border or
container plants. They make for good decorations in flower arrangements and
also attract birds, bees, and butterflies to the garden.Through this flower, we can identify the red one is the petal. We can see some pollen on the red flower. These are the parts which attract the birds, bees and butterflies.

This is firecracker plant. Firecracker plant is also called as Russelia. They are
normally garden plant and are easily recognized by their brilliant red flowers
that are shaped like slender cases. It normally used to hide at the
unattractive walls or fences because they grow quickly.
Through this flower, we know that flower are not necessary grow in the same shape. It can be in a slender cases shape.
Now, we look at the vegetables. For your information, vegetables are plants too.

Lettuce is a fairly hardy,
cool weather vegetable that thrives when the average daily temperature is
between 15.6- 21.1 degree Celsius. Lettuce is a cool-season crop that grows
well in the spring and fall in most areas.
There are five types of lettuce:
- Leaf,
- Cos or romaine,
- crisphead,
- butterhead
- asparagus lettuce.
Now, this is an example of fruits. Fruits are plants too.

This is passion fruit. Passion fruit
is one type of plants and it is also called as fruit. It is also known as
granadilla.
Do you notice the way it grow? Passion fruit is a climbing vine as you see in this image. Passion
fruit vines have large, three lobed leaves, little tendrils that wrap
themselves around. The fresh inside this passion fruit is either yellow or
purple. Passion fruit is brimming with numerous plant derived health benefiting
nourishment essentials for the optimum growth.
Lastly, tea can be plants too.

This is tea plantation. All these leaves can produce
different kinds of tea. Tea is one of the famous in Cameron Highlands, Pahang,
Malaysia. It has the largest tea plantation in Malaysia. Nowadays, even flowers
can make tea such as lavender, rose, jasmine and so on. Different kinds of tea
has different functions.
